     This technical paper is issued 4 times a year (two of issues are in English language).

     Due to quality improvement is the number of papers limited.

     Word templates are available for this journal. Please open and read the instruction document first, as this will explain how to save and then use the template (or docx version).

  • Submissions for publication must be unpublished and not be a multiple submission.

  • The original typescript should be submitted electronically in A4 size format. A final paper which would exceed 7000 words or occupy more than 20 pages of the Magazine may be returned for abridgement. The preferred electronic document format is MS Word (name.doc – see template).

  • Title: as short as possible.

  •  Manuscripts written in Czech language (or Slovak) must include abstract and key words also written in Czech (or Slovak) and English. The abstract should not exceed 10 lines.

  • Manuscripts written in English language must include abstract and key words also written in English. The abstract should not exceed 10 lines.

  • Figures, graphs and diagrams, if not processed by Microsoft WORD, must be sent in electronic form (as JPG, GIF, TIF or BMP files) or drawn in contrast on white paper.

  • The author's exact mailing address, full names, e-mail address, telephone or fax number, and the address of the organization where he works and contact information must be enclosed.

  • References are to be marked in the text numbered respectively. Numbers must be in square brackets. The list of references should follow the paper (according to by ISO 690).

  • Abbreviations, which are not common, must be used in full when mentioned for the first time.

  • The editorial board will assess the submission in its following session. In the case that the article will be the accepted for future issues, the board submits the manuscript to the editors for review and language correction. After reviewing and incorporating the editor's remarks, the final draft (before printing) will be sent to authors for final review and adjustment.

     All papers published in technical journal Perner´s Contacts great emphasis on the quality of the papers they publish. Therefore, a full double-blind refereeing process is used in which papers are sent to 2 experts for their peer review. The reviewers' recommendations determine whether a paper will be accepted / accepted subject to change / subject to resubmission with significant changes / rejected. For papers which require changes, the same reviewers will be used to ensure that the quality of the revised paper is acceptable. The publisher shall furnish authors of accepted papers with proofs for the correction of printing errors. The proofs shall be returned within 14 calendar days of submittal. The publishers shall not be held responsible for errors which are the result of authors' oversights.

Dear Editor

      Enclosed is a paper, entitled "Modern systems of road transport". Please accept it as a candidate for publication in the Electronical journal Perner's Contacts. Below are our responses to your submission requirements.

 1. Title and the central theme of the article.

     Paper title: "Modern systems of road transport" This study reviews the concepts of alternative of semi-trailer systems of intermodal transport. This transport vehicles are semi-trailers with extended length and European Modular System (EMS) – eurocombi.

 2. Which subject/theme of the Journal the material fits

     New trends and technologies in logistic systems.

 3. Why the material is important in its field and why the material should be published in journal?

     The semi-trailers with extended length allow the vehicle to carry 10% more volume than a current semi-trailer. The EuroCombi allows transport volume to be increased by up to 50 percent per vehicle, compared to today’s truck combinations.

 4. Names, addresses, and email addresses of four experts in the subject of your paper who are personally unknown to you, are not members of the editorial board of the journal, are not from your institution and at least two of whom must be from a different country from you.
