Stárnoucí populace Ostravy – současný stav a očekávaný vývoj
Abstract
Uvedený příspěvek je stručnou analýzou současného stavu populace v Ostravě a výhledem
věkového složení obyvatel tohoto města do roku 2050.
Autor přehledně sumarizuje ukazatele populačního vývoje v Ostravě v letech 1900 až 2007,
přičemž akcentuje především záporné migrační saldo. Poté se zabývá hlavně změnami ve
věkové struktuře obyvatel ČR a Ostravy. Hlavní pozornost věnuje prognóze vývoje struktury
obyvatel v Ostravě do roku 2050 – dle střední varianty vývoje.
Příspěvek má sloužit jako jeden z podkladů pro komunitní plánování v Ostravě.
The presented report is a brief analysis of the present state of the population in the city of
Ostrava and also a perspective of the age composition of this city until 2050.
The author summarises digestedly the indicators of the progress of the population in
Ostrava between the years 1900 and 2007, and at the same time he accentuates the negative
migration balance in particular. Secondly, he deals mainly with the changes in the age
composition of the inhabitants of the Czech Republic and the city of Ostrava. The chief focus
is on the prognosis of the progress of the population structure in the city of Ostrava until
2050 – according to the middle variety of the progress.
The report is to serve as one of the background papers for the community planning in the
city of Ostrava.
