SOCIAL IMPACTS OF FREIGHT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Abstract

The article deals with the social impacts of freight transport on the environment, describes the difference between direct, indirect and cumulative impacts of freight transport. Furthermore, the article describes the social impacts of freight transport in particular climate change, noise, air quality, water quality and soil quality.
