Abstract

The number of titles focusing on the neural networks is still increasing, and so is the importance of neural networks usage in both technical and non-technical practice. The aim of this paper is to illustrate the usage of neural networks for passenger flow modelling in the airport terminal environment. It demonstrates the impacts of some passenger features on pedestrian dynamics in the terminal. This model could be used in airport passenger flow management, where the accurate prediction of passenger dynamics is necessary.
