DESIGN AND SPLICING CONVEYOR BELTS

Abstract

The paper deals with the detailed design of rubber conveyor belts and their splicing method. Introduction focuses on the general use of conveyor belts in the industry. The first chapter is divide into two parts, the first part is devoted to rubber-fabric belts, including the production of textile inserts. The second part of the chapter deals with steel-cord belts.. The second chapter is devoted to ways of connecting conveyor belts with mechanical couplings and vulcanization (hot and cold method).
