OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS OF INTERMODAL TRANSPORT TERMINAL

Abstract

The contribution deals with selected indicators which reflect the operating characteristics of intermodal transport terminal. Calculation methodology is derived from design specifications of planned and upgraded terminals. The paper solves calculating the effective performance of the terminal, number of container handling, handling determine the length of track and the tracks of the main transhipment, analysis of using terminal storage areas and terminal capacity.
