Characteristics of region, no matter of what determinated ad ministrative territory, can be regarded with from different persp ectives. Very fundamental to all intents and purposes is traffic characteristics of region. In paper are introduced methodics and calculations results for regions of Cz ech Republic. Research is made in the framework of PhD. thesis and results will be used in next scie ntific activities.
