Abstract

Aviation safety is an essential aspect that determines the quality of air transport. Efforts to maintain the highest possible level of safety should be therefore the most important objective for all stakeholders in civil aviation. The paper deals with safety of air transport and the basic tool for maintaining the level of safety – safety management system.
