Abstract

In the introduction part of this article is presented tendency of segmentation car’s model lines as response to customer’s demands and to achieve this, manufacturers use principle of design modularization. This reason forcing subcontractors to increase flexibility and agility of production and logistics processes. It characterizes the delivery concept to supplying assembly line, according to personalized customer´s order (build to order). The closing part of the paper presents possibility of using the tools of information and communication technology to increase the agility of logistic processes, when it is necessary to share information on production orders between car manufacturers and suppliers.
