ANALYTICAL DETERMINATION OF THE LOAD CARRYING CAPACITY OF A WINDING DEVICE DRUM OF A WORKING MACHINE

Abstract

In this contribution the dimensional calculation of an untyped winding device for a working machine is presented. This device has been damaged due to overload by the not specified load. Therefore, the winding device has been overhauled. Further the functional calculation was performed due to determination of maximum loads, which can be risen on this device depend on the used gear ratio. The determination of the maximum permissible load, i.e. stress values and stress distribution in the main carrying part – in the drum using analytical calculation is the final step before the winding device recommissioning.
