Abstract

The article describes the modelling of a virtual diesel engine. The engine is created using basic blocks from the Simulink library. Its input values were obtained using measurements and modified according to the actual engine configuration. The details of these measurements are not presented in this article. The description of a virtual engine simulation is given and, in the end, a comparison with the values of a real engine is discussed.
